About Us
Devica Alappan, MD, DCH, FAAP
Dr Devica Alappan has been in private practice in Columbus since 2001. Dr Alappan received her medical degree at Jamaica’s University of the West Indies. She also obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ireland. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Yale University / Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board-certified in Pediatrics.
Dr Devica Alappan worked in several countries, such as the West Indies, Scotland, and England, before her residency in the United States.

Our Staff
Dr Jackson Montrym MD
Dr. Montrym joined the practice in 2023. A native of upstate New York with deep family roots in Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia and attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee in 2023. During his training, he worked at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Montrym sees patients at both the Old Town and Midtown offices. He enjoys cooking, running, bicycling, exploring new places, reading and is passionate about geography.
